Evgenia Emanuilova Vasileva is a part-time PhD student at the Department of Library Management and Archival Science in the PhD program: “Book Knowledge, Library Studies and Bibliography” at ULSIT. The topic of her dissertation is “Building the competitiveness of the academic publishing house in the modern information market. Perspectives in front of the university publishing house “Za bukvite – O pismeneh”, with scientific supervisor Assoc. Prof. Rumelina Ilieva Vasileva, PhD.

Evgenia Vasileva was born in Sofia. Graduated with a master’s degree in ULSIT, majoring in Cultural and Historical Heritage in a Contemporary Information Environment.

Her interests are in the field of history and humanities.

She has worked as an expert in marketing and advertising, economic analysis and more.

Since 2007 she has been working at ULSIT and now: at the Academic Publishing House “For the Letters – About Writing” as a chief expert and secretary of the Cyril and Methodius newspaper “Za bukvite – O pismeneh”. Her main work is related to the preparation of monographs, textbooks and teaching aids, books and more for printing incl. and in electronic version, as a result of the research and teaching activities of the academic staff of ULSIT; printing of materials from international conferences, scientific seminars, projects, etc.

Her research interests are in the field of book science, book publishing, bibliography and library science, information technologies, cultural and historical heritage, information resources of tourism, cultural tourism, history, literature and linguistics.

She has 7 publications in the field of humanities – as an author and co-author.

Participates in the organization and holding of the annual National Scientific Conference with international participation on the Day of the Bulgarian National Revival Leaders “Knowledge Society and the XXI Century Humanism” – November 1.

She is a member of two research projects under the Internal Competition for Financing Research Projects and Projects for Partial Financing of Scientific Events under the Ordinance of the Ministry of Education and Science – Competition Session 2020.
