Steliana Yordanova is a PhD in the professional field: 3.5. Public communications and information sciences. She defended her dissertation on “Information Process Management System for Early Warning, Monitoring and Counteraction to Models for Nonviolent Change of Political Regimes” on 27th September 2021.
Steliana Yordanova has a bachelor’s degree in Archival and Documentary Studies and a master’s degree in National Security from the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies.
She currently holds the position of Chief Expert at the Institute of Information and Security at the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies.
Her research interests are in the field of information process management, hybrid wars, colour revolutions, media communications and their intellectual law aspects and control over the National Security System.
She is the author and co-author of publications in the field of national security and information process management.
Main field and subfields of research: National Security, Social, Economic and Legal Sciences, Public Communications and Information Sciences.
Additional areas and subfields of research: Management of information resources, Systems analysis, Information sciences, Communication sciences, Information theory, Information security (methods, algorithms, systems), Analysis of information environment, information management, uncertainty and complexity.
She is a member of a research project funded by the National Science Fund of the Ministry of Education and Science.
